Castration

Puppies 2
There is a lot to read about this on the internet. Castration in the Australian Labradoodle is a much discussed issue among several people. From Australia it has been decided to have puppies neutralized at 7 weeks to prevent this that people just breed a litter before the breed was finished. Finally, we talk about a composite race that is/was in the making.

Of course it is said that the intention is to keep the price high, but that is not the case. They wanted to consciously and thoughtfully form a race.

Early neutering is a very normal thing in America. Everything has pros and cons of course. If you see that the puppies are running/playing and eating within a few hours and an adult dog is upset for a few days, then something to say for that. There are also certain medical points such as certain variants of cancer that do not occur or occur much less in a neutered dog.

Until recently, the breeders in the Netherlands had no choice regarding neutralizing (neutering) the puppies, luckily something has changed since the beginning of 2012. Due to good consultation and insistence from the ALAEU, various breeders worked hard to give new owners the choice. It is no longer mandatory but an urgent advice to neutralize the dog, but you can now make a choice to have that arranged with the breeder after 8 weeks, or before the dog is 24 months old to have it done yourself and to hand over proof of this to the breeder.

The Dutch breeders fought hard for and through this. But the result may well be. Let yourself be well informed about this issue so that you can make an informed choice. And also ask your breeder where you want to get a puppy from as each breeder is free to decide for themselves whether or not they neuter early.

I have decided not to neutralize the puppies at such a young age. You will therefore receive a contract that you must adhere to. Stick to it to prevent the umbrella body from turning things back again and there is no choice. Some people say that it is not legally valid, remember that it is not correct after all You have always signed voluntarily and no one has forced you with a revolver to bring a dog with us with a breeding ban.

All our dogs have a pedigree issued by the breed club after the proof of castration you will only receive the pedigree of the dog.

WE ALSO HAVE A BREEDING PROHIBITION FOR ALL DOGS SOLD AS HOUSE DOGS.

Breeding dogs are sold but are more expensive and the selection is made in a different way together with you.
